Multi-billion Asset Manager Leverages Crux to Ingest and Normalize Various Sources of External ESG Data

Through a multi-cloud implementation, Crux reduced operating costs for a $500bn+ sovereign wealth fund and allowed for faster trials and more data inclusion in the fund’s strategies.

Faced with new regulatory and internal pressures to be ESG compliant the fund identified multiple public data sources to develop its ESG benchmarks. However, the data was on various websites and the schemas were not structured to quickly integrate with internal data workflows.
